Hymn

Close your eyes and listen
To the sound of wind in the trees
To the rustle of leaves in the morning
The creak of branches in the breeze.

Drink in the chatter of river over rock beds
Percusssed by a swooping bird dip
Whoosh before the rush of the rapids
Water rushing crashing over the lip.

The hum of a plump bumble driver
Flitting from flower to flower
In the heat misty haze of noontime
Rising dew-like after the shower.

Each moment and noise is a blessing
A hymn to the Creator above
A beautiful intricate music
Made of life and light and love
